If you prefer another connection material (Polypro or HDPE) please note it in your order! - Understand that Polypro & HDPE connections are easier to open and close, but are not as durable as Polycarb connections and may bend or break over time, causing gapping, or damage to the connection.

- If you choose to order your hoop with another connection material, we cannot guarantee the integrity of your connection. Understand that should the connection become broken or gapped, you will be responsible for payment of any repairs or shipping necessary.

Polypro Hoop Care

Polypro is a fragile material that is best not used in extreme temperatures. Being left in extreme heat can cause your hoop to warp or the tape to begin peeling (so don't leave it in a hot car). Using your hoop in cold temperatures can cause your hoop to snap. It's best to use polypro in warmer temperatures or indoors with a steady temperature. If the hoop feels cold, don't use it! - If it is cold enough to snow/ice do not use your hoop outside.

DO NOT EVER "DOUBLE COIL" YOUR POLYPRO HOOP.

Half-coil and secure it with Saran wrap or cellophane for travel.

HDPE Hoop Care

HDPE, while not as fragile as polypro, is still a very deleciate material. HDPE can be used in colder temperatures than polypro, just be mindful to not use very stressful moves on the hoop (breaks, paddles, wedgies, etc.) It is not recommended you use HDPE in cold weather below freezing.

HDPE is not recommened to be "double coiled". Half-coil and secure it with Saran wrap or cellophane for travel.

P.E. (Polyethelyne) Hoop Care

P.E. is a more versatile material and can be used in just about any weather conditions, however it's not recommended it be left in exrtreme heat. (Extreme heat can still cause taped P.E hoops to peel). P.E. is usually fine for use in colder weather, but is not recommended to be left in freezing weather.

P.E. hoops larger than 32"OD are usually safe to be "double coiled" for travel. P.E. hoops smaller than a 32" should be half-coiled and secured with Saran wrap or cellophane for travel.
1. Cut away the proctive bubble wrap carefully as to not damage the hoop beneath.

2. Once removed, leave hoop uncollapsed and unconnected for an hour.

3. After the hour, connect your hoop and lay flat on the floor near a heat source (not too close, but enough the hoop will warm slightly). Place books around the hoop evenly. Larger hoops may require 5-6 books, while smaller hoops usually need 3-4. Let hoop rest for an hour.

4. Remove books and place hoop flat on floor away from heat source, let cool for 10 minutes.

5. PLAY WITH YOUR NEW HOOP!
